Jari Multisilta: The River of my Life
I work as a professor of multimedia at Tampere University of Technology (TUT), Pori. I did my doctorate thesis on Hypermedia based learning environments in mathematics.

Currently, my research interests include applications of multimedia, distance learning, mobile Internet technologies, and mobile communications and services. I have published over 70 international conference papers and journal articles on my research area.

My first experience with computers was Sinclair ZX-81 at my school computer science club (Itä-Porin yläaste 1981, I am on the right side of the picture). See also the picture I have taken during Leonids 1999 or read my poems (in Finnish only).
